Bizzare Zappos Question
Permalink Closed

Ok as most of y'all know I'm want these shoes

On the Guess website, each pair is $99.  PLUS Guess is running a promo for $25 off orders up to $199.

SOOOO, My total from Guess for both pairs including shipping is $179 after the automatic $25 discount.

So if I order through Zappos will they match the price plus give me an extra 10% off my final pricing or based on the original $99 pair?

I'd call Zappos and ask before you order.  There CS is usually very helpful

i think that is how it is supposed to work, but i also think that you should call them to make sure.  i got a pair of shoes there and then found them somewhere else cheeper and they did give me 110% of the difference, and this sounds like the same thing, so i am thinking they should.

I am so happy that you asked that queston and am really curious what Zappos has to say, hope you'll update!

I was wracking my brains trying to figure out how to get the best deal on the three pairs of shoes I wanted b/c the best price for one of them was on Foleys site (20 bucks cheaper!) with a flat ship rate ($8 )and no tax. Zappos charges sales tax to CA, I should have figured that in.

SO...... I read your question, rechecked Foleys to make sure they had my size/color and unbelievably there was ONLY one in stock. So I panic, order the shoes at Zappos like a complete maniac, then get on the phone to the sweetest customer service person ever and arrange for my 110% difference credit. Thank God, no one bought that one pair before she confirmed it!

The way it worked out was I paid maybe $2 more than if I had ordered from Foleys probably b/c of the sales tax (?) but she gave me the 2 day ship for free. Ten minutes later,  I get an email, Zappos says they are sending them overnight instead of 2 day. AMAZING!!! The whole thing took me under 5 minutes....the 5 minutes after I read your question! Thanks and really want to hear how your Guess shoes are going to be discounted.
