When should I recieve a wedding invite?
Permalink Closed

I have two friends that are getting married one at the end of June and the other at the end of July- when should I recieve the invites by if I am invited? I am hoping not be invited, but I have a feeling I will be. I was wondering when I should be in the clear?

This post kind of makes me sound like a monster.

I think the rule is 6 weeks before the wedding you should send out the invitations so I would assume you would receive an invite in May and June.

General recommendation is to send invites 6-8 weeks before the event.  If you are indeed invited, I'd expect the invites no later than 4.5 weeks before the respective weddings.

6-8 weeks is the norm, but I did just get mine for a wedding that is in one month, so some Brides are not as on top of it, or they may have had massive problems with printing theirs like I have...Luckily I still fall under 6 weeks.
