Okay, I was so excited to be able to learn how to use shutterfly and post pics here that I tried to do the same on an email to family and friends.  I did it the same way I did before (which Elle so graciously taught me)--I clicked on the photo to enlarge it and pressed control c and it wouldn't copy!!  then I tried to copy the thumbnail by right clicking it and then clicking copy and it also would not do it.  as an experiement I did the exact same thing here and it copied perfectly (I deleted it of course b/c it's not material to my question).  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?  Thank you!

I could be wrong, but I think Shutterfly wants you to use the "shared albums" feature instead of emailing a copy of the photo. I just tried copying/pasting with one of the stylethread account pics, and it didn't work.


You could also try this: right click on the photo, go down to properties, and then copy the URL. Paste that URL into the email and it should work.


Otherwise, just use the "share this photo" button that comes up next to your photos in Shutterfly. Then people can just see the whole album at once.

Thanks Halleybird--that really helps.  It sounds like the "share" option should work perfectly for what I want to do.  Thanks so much for taking the time to help me out!
