i have always had pretty good skin.  but now that i'm getting hitched, i would like it to be in tip top shape.  not just my face, but arms and back and chest.  are there any products that you guys can reccommed that will make me have glowing magazine ad skin?

it's normal, but every once in a while i get a pimple.  my arms have a bit of that icky KP crap, but i got some of the KP duty to fix that.

I'm not sure if you ever get pimples on your back, aka "bacne" but meet mark by Avon makes a great Bacne Acne Spray that I used for months before the wedding to make sure I didn't have any misbehaving pimples, especially since I was wearing a strapless dress.

Tara, I just bought this book called "The Skin Type Solution" by Dr. Leslie Baumann.  You take a skin typing test.  Once you've determined your skin type based on Baumann's test, you go to the chapter that discusses skin regime's for your skin type.  She lists products (what's cool is that the products are ranging from inexpensive drug store brands to higher end products) for face washes, moisturizers, serums, treatments, etc.  I just ordered my products so I can't say much about results because I haven't received my stuff in the mail yet.  But it might be worth looking into because, according to this book, many people use products wrong for their skin type.  There is also a website through which you can purchase products:  www.baumannstore.com

Hope this helps!

P.S.  Just by looking at the online store, there are not as many options listed for each type of product.  The book has a lot more options and the online site doesn't list the cheapest products.

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but it can't hurt to try. Just in case something "pops up" the day of, this may be necessary. I hope you don't need it, but it's always better to be prepared in advance.

I think a facial like a month before the wedding is a good idea.

I used the neutrogena facial peel pretty frequently - it's pretty gentle but effective.

As for the body, I liked the St. Ives apricot scrub in anti acne - it's not too harsh, so it won't dry you out, but it keeps you exfoliated

Drink lots of water!  I am sure you will be beautiful.
