I want to get this Kenneth Cole bag but I'm so confused. I found it at KC, Nordstroms, and Zappos but I'm not sure about size. On the KC website it's called 'Make the Braid' Small Satchel but at Nordie's and Zappos it's called 'Make the Braid' Satchel. It's $218 at KC, $298 at Nordie's, and $301 at Zappos. Based on the name and price difference I would normally assume that the one on the KC website is smaller, but the listed dimensions are all over the place.
KC: 14.5, 8.25, 6
Nordie's: 15, 8, 6.5
Zappos: 13.5, 8, 4.25
Ok, so I'm starting to think that they're probably all the same, but the fact that it's about $80 cheaper on the KC site is kind of throwing me It could be that the KC and the Nordie's dimensions are correct and the Zappos ones are off, but based on those measurements I think they're too close in size to justify an $80 price difference.
well it looks to me like the first one is smaller and the other two are the same. if you notice, the first bag has only one section between the two where the handles attach, and the second bag has three. i can't see on the third, since the mannequin's arm is in the way, but i think it's the same as the second one.

The first bag, the one from KC, definitely looks different than the other two. The second one and the last one look like they could be the same.
Also, I think there is a satchel version of this bag as well as a hobo version. I have seen one of them IRl, maybe the second picture? I don't know, I'm kind of confused too.

Yeah, based on pictures I think that the first one is smaller but the measurements are so varied that I don't know exactly how much smaller. It looks more than .5 inch smaller and the straps definitely look shorter.
Zeitgeist, at first I thought that maybe one was the hobo too but I found a picture and these are all definitely the satchel.
Eh, oh well. I think I'm just going to go with this Hayden-Harnett bag that I was also considering. Dot's post convinced me
