Last bad movie you saw?

I just watched The Brothers Grimm with my cousins.  Normally I don't say this, but yall, that movie f*cking sucked!  It was awful, just awful.  What movie was a waste of your time recently?

this might be an unpopular opinion but I thought that the 40 Year Old Virgin was lame. But I think b/c everyone I know had built it up so much it was supposed to be the Funniest! Movie! Ever! but it was only just ok.

That sucks, otherjess, I wanted to see Brothers Grimm. But if its really bad I won't bother.

King Kong.  DH wanted to go, and I agreed.  I don't like scary bugs or gross stuff at all...and I don't like movies longer than 2.5 hours with rare exceptions.  Some parts were good, but for the most part, it was waaaaaay too long and waaaay too boring.  So, he is now in the hole to me for a super cheesy girly movie.  I've never seen the notebook...is that really good?

I get bored and order weird On Demand movies and my choices are almost always terrible.

Brown Bunny. Slow, weird and they actually show Chloe Sevigny giving Vincent Gallo oral sex. It was seriously porn.

Silence Becomes You. I rented it because Alicia Silverstone was in it. The movie was slow and the only redeeming feature was the that the entire movie looked like an Anthropologie catalog.

Dukes of Hazzard. Obviously.

Mad Hot Ballroom. It got such good reviews but I was not entertained.

Broken Flowers. I love Bill Murray (usually) but I didn't like this.

aww, I loved 40-year-old Virgin! But I have the sense of humor of a 12 y/o sometimes.

I see a lot of bad movies. I am going to have to go with Into the Blue or Dukes of Hazzard. Both atrocious.

I saw Just Like Heaven (I think that's what it was called) on an airplane recently and it was awful.  Just blah.  I normally like Reese Witherspoon, but that movie had a lame plot line and even lamer and predictable ending.  Just not my thing.

I rented 5x2 which is by the same director that did Swimming Pool and whenever I try to get artsy movies I always regret it. This movie was just bad, bad....BAD.

Ugh DH and I went to go see Freedomland yesterday and it totally blew chunks. The best part of the movie was the nachos we ate while watching it.

UMMMMM YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!   You HAVE to see the Notebook!!  And even though he owes it to you to see it, I bet you he will like it too.  My mom and I forced my DH and my dad to watch it around V-day and they were even a little teary eyed!!  It's such a great movie.

I agree. It just wasn't all it was made out to be. Just okay in my opinion.

A movie called Intolerable Cruelty with Catherine Zeta Jones and George Clooney.  Just HORRIBLE!!!  DH and I wanted to turn it off so bad but just wanted to see the ending so we watched the whole thing and at the end we were like, is this seriously a movie?  Just horrible!!!

Also that one the Secret Window with Jhonny Dep.  Really bad IMO.

I made my poor BF watch Just Like Heaven a couple weeks ago and he fell asleep. It was indeed really bad. Even worse, when I had my appendectomy last fall, after I got out of the hospital I had to spend a couple days lying around, so I decided to watch Monster-in-Law. It was terrible! Not even my pain-killer induced haze could save it.

Must Love Dogs. Snooze. My sis said she was surprised I didn't like it because she thought it was cute. Maybe it was because I watched on my flight home from Vegas & I was so tired, but I thought it was lame.

I say this when I am truly the worst movie critic ever. I like most movies with the only exceptions being Stuck on You & Castaway. Strange range of choices I realize.

Man, I like some of the movies y'all are panning! Mad Hot Ballroom? Rocked. 40 Year Old Virgin? Hilarious. Dukes of Hazzard? Okay bad, but still entertaining. And Just Like Heaven? I thought it was cute. I can see I'm in the minority here.

But seriously, the last movie I saw that was sooooo bad was Date Movie. Ugh. I like Willow and all but give me a break. That movie was just baaaddd.

I just thought of another one... did anyone ever see Sin City?

The
Worst
Movie
Ever

I couldn't even finish it. And I always try to finish a movie, even if I don't like it, since I feel you can't fairly judge a movie without seeing the whole thing. But I just couldn't with this one.

The worst movie was A Day Without A Mexican. I know it was supposed to make some sort of statement, but it was just cheesy. Like they showed tumbleweeds moving across an empty taco stand because the mexicans all disappeared for a day. Give me a break!

Oh and I only got through half of Jersey Girl, yuck. Just yuck.

I really enjoyed Intolerable Cruelty, it was so over the top that it was funny, but I am a George Clooney fan and I guess you just had to be in the mood.

We rented Red Eye last weekend and it was wretched. DH has a knack for picking out the worst movies ever.

Well, I love movies with dancing, so I loved this. It made me want to get up and rhumba. I also love movies with makeovers...
