Enh...I missed the first 15 minutes or so and then once I tuned in I kept getting easily distracted. So I guess my take is that it wasn't to riveting of an episode. I did love the hairstyle on that one girl...at the dinner table with Sandy, Kirsten and Sandy's business partner.

yea, what even happened? My mind is blank too. Ryan and Marissa annoy me- they are so terrible together, I'm glad they broke up. As annoying as I find Marissa most of the time- I want to see someone who brings out her flirty/fun/happy side. And doesn't end up raping her/drugging her/sleeping with her mom.

i watched it because, well, i can't *not* watch it...but i barely even remember what happened. the last thing i can remember is a really awkward and randomly unnecessary hot tub scene and then it just got . . .

It was boring. I am so glad Ryan and Marissa broke up. I really liked seeing Seth and Summer getting physical. And Julie and Doc ROberts are so cute. But that is it. It was just so boring.

-Ryan goes on a road trip with Johnny's cousin, looking for somebody's dad who needs to pay child support (I missed the part where they explained it). They play strip poker but Ryan sleeps on the floor. Ryan gets into a fight with said Dad.

-Marissa learns the police think she's involved with Johnny's murder.

-Ryan and Marissa have the most awkward breakup ever. Quick paraphrase: Ryan: "It's over." Marissa: "I know." Ryan: "Shouldn't we have more to say?" Marissa: "We never really were good with words." (Sing it, sister! What were you good with, anyway?") Ryan: "Yeah." Marissa: "See you at school."

-Summer is worried about her dad and tries to get Julie & Kiki to set him up. She gives them a list of qualities, and of course Julie is sad because she can't meet them. Taylor T. catches Julie and Summer's Dad canoodling.

-Sandy convinces his Apprentice (name?) to bring his Daddy's Girl/Girlfriend to dinner. At the dinner, he brings up the project he wants approved. Daddy's Girl is very gracious, agrees to show her father, and then leaves. She later breaks up with Apprentice. Kiki is pissed because she thinks Sandy crossed the line.

My random thoughts:

-Marissa & Ryan were sooooo boring. They are the two most boring characters on the show, and together they were worse.

-Loved Summer's "voice over" in the beginning. This show is great when it makes fun of itself.

Hmm...I thought I watched it, but so many things you all tell I don't even remember! I do remember Summer's voice over and the cops coming to Johnny's cousins.

I too am relieved Marissa and Ryan broke up. It was very fun seeing Summer and Seth being couple-y together, and also seeing Julie get herself done up all Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct to seduce Dr. Roberts.
