based on your avatar (which is awesome, btw), your previous posts about shoe questions, and your myspace page (specficially your music taste) i actually think you would probably work that skirt into something for everyday wear.
i think i could really dig it with a white tank top and black flips for the summer. or a plain black silky top and plain black pumps for now. it is a bit much with the pink and black lace overlay, but perhaps it fits into your wardrobe?

First thought - Madonna in "Desperately Seeking Susan" circa ... maybe 1984???? All that is missing is the lace, fingerless gloves and floppy bow on top for top of the head
cat, I think you could pull it off. It is over the top, but that doesn't make it not cute. It is goth, but that's ok, right. Gosh I have an inner goth girl......

I think you can make it work. I like the style, though the color combo isn't my favorite. I have an inner goth/vintagey self that wants to pair skirts like that with vintage graphic tees, chunky necklaces, legwarmers (OK so I'm going to fashion hell, I know) or striped tights, and Converse sneakers.
