i like nnenna (sp?) a lot too. Also, I like the blonde girl that was looking straight ahead in her photo- i think it was Joni or Jodi or something. I think Cari is cute and reminds me of my friends little sister with the same name. I think the redhead is very pretty but she looks soo small compared to everyone else- both in height and frame. As far as Dani is concerned, she got on my last nerve. i think theres a double standard when it comes to "white" people saying certain things about their own race, but the way she talked about other races and sexual orientations was really ignorant, especially given the industry she wanted to enter. It makes me never want to visit uber-conservative America.

this is exactly how i felt - i was squirming when they were all at dinner and she was being so inappropriate. when i said "hilarious" above, i meant it in an "i can not believe that someone would say things like this in this situation on national tv" kind of sense, just to clarify.

i understand that there are plenty of people out there with the same beliefs as she has (our president being one of them, sigh), and she is entitled to feel however she wants - BUT if people do have beliefs that could be considered offensive to others, they really should think before they speak. there is a difference between being PC and being considerate. and the way she just kind of blared out "i think affirmative action is complete crap" made is seem like she was voicing her personal beliefs SOLELY to get a rise out of and shock the other girls (or else she is just REALLY stupid). it's not like they were having a discussion on the subject and she added that she was against it and her reasons for why. people like that infuriate me.

anyway, it's good that she isn't around anymore!

I watched. Like you girls I liked Nenna and Sarah. Cannot stand Jade- she is soo annoying. Even the judges notice it so I wonder how long she will last. She looks super b*tchy next week. I also didn't like the Asian girl that was confused as to where she belonged in the world. She is very easily intimidated (not good in these career field).

The girl from Little Rock, AR cracks me up. They need to get her to a ortho to get that gap between her teeth fixed! Her personality is hilarious!

I missed the beginning so I don't really know any of the girls. I don't think any of them are that special. I did like the redhead (I am partial to redheads).

I looooved that Eve was on, I think she is so beautiful and really underappreciated as a model.

I can't stand Jade. I love how she already thinks she's a model but Jay obviously disagrees. And she's 26--- I know this is a reality show that casts personalities, but in the real world that's just too to begin your career as a 'top model'.

Jade is so friggin annoying. "I'm a very humble person, I'm so down to earth" blah blah blah...BS!!!! Eww I hate arrogant people.

I like Danielle, Mollie Sue, and Leslie too.

Oh, and one last thing. I HATE how they were like "Hey, you're going bald!" Yawn...totally didn't see the bald cap coming! I thought they were all really going to shave their heads! *rolls eyes*

I love Nnenna and Sarah just like you girls. I think Nnenna is on top of her game and the strongest right now. I also can't believe how good of a model Sarah seems to be, considering she has no experience and they found her in a mall!

I cannot stand Jade either. She's humble? My ass! I think that if she didn't have that attitude, she'd make a great model, however that attitude will be what gets her cut. Anyone remember Lisa from last season?

I also do not like Furona (sp?) - she's so full of crap. I love how she asked Tyra "do you have any tips for the girls that get cut?" Then Tyra busts her out, so she says "well some of the other girls asked me, so I wanted you to answer for them" Whatever! And she thought she rocked that photo shoot? She looked like an alien/bug. I love how Tyra put her in the bottom two to knock her back into her place.

I was kinda annoyed how Tyra kept saying how Brooke isn't a pretty girl to your normal person, only a face that would work on a runway. I think she has an amazing look! Very exotic hippie. She may have a bigger chin, but work it!

I don't like Furonda's look. She doesn't look like a model at all, plus she is annoying.

Gina is so-so. She does need to keep her hair pulled back. I was embarrased for her during the "press" interviews. And saying how she would never date an Asian, what is up with that? Her excuse is because they wouldn't be tall enough? I don't think that was it.

Glad Kathy is gone, she doesn't look like a model at all! Oh, and it was kinda funny how they all had a whole kit of makeup and maybe only 3 of them did an okay job using it. Maybe they never used makeup before, but hell I would try at least the mascara!

Jade's 10 frames look so bitchy. She doesn't have a pleasant looking face in any of them! People who act like that usually have major self-worth issues.

Um, I don't think Wendy looks like a model either. She didn't seem to say much either.

It cracked me up too that they all thought they were getting their heads shaved. Did they realize it was only the beginning of the show? Although a show w/ a bunch of bald models would be totally sweet.

I would like to say that Dani does not represent all or most Consevative Republicans that I know. My family is pretty conservative and I don't think I know anyone that thinks like her. My family is the most open and excpeting group of people I know. Family get togethers look like the freaking UN.

My boyfriends family is also conservative, Republican and religious. They are also a very open and excepting family. I know they do not agree w/ homosexuality, but they certainly don't dislike gay people. They are many gay people in my boyfriends life and I have never heard them say or act in anyway that was disrespectful.

This is kind of a touchy subject for me right now. I have this class where I have to listen to my teacher rant about Conservative American and how horrilble and close minded we are. We end up getting a huge debate every Wednesday. I have no idea how I have been able to picked up a chair and thrown it at him yet. If I have another extended absence from the board it is probably because my freakin head exploded.

It probably doesn't help that the guy who sits next to me looks up bongs on the computer for the whole class and then nudges me and says "Dude, look at this one!" I have no idea why I have not thrown a chair at him either. He is probably the reason I am so worked up is because and not because of my prof.

I just watched this, looks like it should be a good season. I really like Joanie and Kari. I also think Mollie Sue has great coloring. I don't think Gina will last very long or Furonda. I can't wait to see the makeovers next week.

Oh, and RyanJ, I'm with you on the fact that Dani wasn't a good representative of conservatives.
