EKKKK! i hate sarah.  i am so pissed he picked her.  i am so hoping that they willl break up.  she was just such a robot and i wanted to shoot her everytime she said, "Travis, you are so perfect for me."

i hated her mom too -- she was so irritating with the scripted questions she kept asking sarah.  "did you kiss him?"  yuck.

Booo! Sarah is booring! I didn't think Moana was any good for him either even though I liked her better. I guess Sarah and Travis are equally boring so there you go.

I agree I love the way Moana dresses. I felt really bad for her when she crying in the limo. I could almost feel her pain. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but I did feel bad for her.

WTF. I totally hate Travis now. I thought he was kind of lame but maybe just a product of his environment and Moana could bring out the best in him. I guess I was wrong.

Sarah is such an idiot. She's just sitting there waiting to be a Dr.'s wife who'll pump out babies. I also couldn't believe the questions her mom was asking. I would slap my mother if she ever asked me if I'd kissed a boy yet. That's so 7th grade.

I think I ended up getting way too emotionally involved in this show. I almost started crying in the limo scene. Especially when she said "guys like that don't marry girls like me" and "the nice girl always wins."

Overall totally lame and depressing. Also are they not doing the reunion show where they three of them get together and talk about it?

I guess I'm alone here, but I think he made the right choice for himself.  Moana was way too exotic and complicated for him.  Sarah is boring, but so is Travis IMO.  They deserve eachother.  While I do find Sarah very boring and plain, I do think she's a good person w/good intentions and I believed the things she said she felt for him.  Moana, I'm not so sure.

Was anyone else totally uncomfortable when Moana met his parents?  They were asking her a bunch of questions and she just sat there in silence - too akward for me!

It was totally awkward when she didn't answer but those were some awkward questions. I can't imagine a boyfriend's parents asking me stuff like that. How uncomfortable. I almost saw that as a testamet to Moana that she wouldn't just say "I like him cause he's nice and funny and handsome!"

Right, but most of us probably wouldn't go on national tv to find a husband either She should have expected it.

I totally agree with this.

It got on my nerves when Moana wouldn't answer the questions.  They wanted to like her, but she gave them nothing to work with.  Of course it's going to feel weird answering those questions--this is not a typical situation.

i thought it gave moana a certain integrity not to have answered those questions (although she seemed to be acting kind of weird -- but again, that could have been the editing), b/c sarah's answers were so calculated that it was as if she wrote them before she even got to the show.  she and her mother both had the "dr. & mrs." title sparkling in their eyes.

at least travis seemed to show a bit of emotion when he was with moana.

how lame was his attmept at a joke, at the end, with sarah, "but ... i pick you.  ha ha ha."  then they were totally monotone, " i am so happy."  "me too."

I haven't watched this show religiously, but I saw the finale. I don't think either pick was all that great. Eh.

And the scene of Maona crying in the limo. I wanted to clap afterward because it was just such a "performance." Come.on. Is she pursuing a career in acting by chance?

I thought this too! I was actually surprised at how much it seemed like an act. I hadn't thought the before, but it really felt that way to me. They way she was looking directly into the camera....weird. I also think that it was really cheezy for him to put it on a necklace. I think that he just shouldn't give it to her. You are a DR. you can buy your own ring when the time comes. I also think he was very influenced by his family and they loved her, because all together they were one little boring family!

Here are my thoughts...

Why did Sarah do that dumb little dance again with Travis's nieces? It's not that cute and she looks like an idiot. But I don't think she's the brightest bulb...

I REALLY liked the dresses they both wore.

The funniest part of the entire night was when Travis said, "I want you to have this ring... ON A NECKLACE." I understand he why didn't want to propose but I just thought this was funny... why didn't he just give her a normal necklace? Bascially he didn't say he loved her, but instead it would be cool just to go back to NashVegas and hang out to see what happens. So lame...

I think the whole thing is just convenient for him. They are both so blah I guess they deserve each other.

I hate that dance song thing. When I worked at camp that was a favorite of all the stupid counselors. I refused to do it. I just don't get it.

I liked how the kids liked Moana better. Kids appreciate it when you act like yourself around them and don't talk down to them like Sarah did.

But really got me was that he gave both Moana and Sarah the same speech. The "hey beautiful" to both of them. And then he tried to hug Moana tight when he rejected her...like they were in this together? It was just odd.

I did like Sarah better because Moana didn't seem genuine to me. But the whole thing is just so ridiculous.

How bout it - I totally thought she was playing it up for the cameras.  I'm sorry, but you aren't that heartbroken over a guy you met on TV and knew for 6 weeks!  I almost felt bad for her, but then I thought about that!

My thoughts: His family had already decided on Sarah before they had even met Moana. Why else would they have put her before the firing squad 5 sconds after being introduced?

If it was me that was really that heartbroken, I wouldn't have been able to make any sense in the limo. It just would have been "ugh*sob*cry, mutter*sob*mutter, wail". Moana definatley made it a performance.

I loved it when his neice was like "I liked Moana better than the teacher" she couldn't remember Sarahs' name, haha.

Sarah was the safe, boring choice. Travis is fairly boring himself. Boring people deserve each other.

i thought moana was really annoying and pretentious with the whole "i am so deep" thing, throughout the show but especially in this episode.  was she trying to make travis' family hate her? because being "so above" their silly bourgeois questions is an expedient way to do that.

i get that she really was into him, but it just seemed so obvious that she was really trying to manipulate him, what with the cooking and her explanation of how the other evil girls turned on her but she's really a bigger person and doesn't hold a grudge about it.  first of all, it's a tv show--there is no way in hell that moana was the cook for the entire girls' house and made their dinner every night--he kept asking that and she was so clearly trying to let him believe it by not correcting him.  there is a whole department that handles feeding the cast and crew--so i call bullshit on that.  she was totally playing the "all the other girls hate me because i'm so much cooler than them" card.  it was definitely well-played, she's good, but i saw through it and i was waiting for travis to, since he did seem like a fairly good judge of character in terms of susan and sarah/canada.

Didn't one of the girls in another episode talk about how Moana cooked dinner for them?

i think in the end, sarah gave him what he thinks he wants, the manners, the perfect career for a doctor's wife, looks, family approval, etc... but i think part of him will wish that he picked someone more exciting (like canadian sarah), and they will not work out.

sarah didn't bother me the whole season, but this episode she really did.  when she was on the floor with him after their date, and she kept on talking, "i don't want you to go, yadda yadda, yadda" she was soooooo annoying, and i thought that he was getting sick of her.

this season was pretty bad.

yes, they did--i think they actually said she made breakfast for them, which is really nice.  and i am sure that she did do that, maybe even more than once, but i am thinking not every single night.  but when travis kept asking her "so you made these girls dinner like this every night and they were still mean to you?" she just kept giving him these meaningful looks and not correcting him--essentially making herself some kind of saint/martyr/whatever.  it was manipulative, imho.

anyway, i don't think either one of these girls is right for him, and he and sarah will probably break up soon.  he seems like he wants a kind of laid-back, outdoorsy type girl who is fun but low-key--basically sarah/canada + 7-8 years.  moana was a bit too intense and high-maintenance, and sarah is the perfect-on-paper girl that his family likes, but he isn't that attracted to.  aww, she looked kinda disappointed when he put the ring around her neck and not on her finger, huh?  i give it 3 months tops.

blech! They deserve each other. Seriously, I think Moana is a little too interesting for Travis. Some random observations:

-is it just me, or do Travis and Sarah have zero chemistry? Did anyone else notice that he was totally closed-mouthed kissing her on their last dates? He kept making faces like he was kissing his sister.

-I totally agree with whoever said that Travis's mom and Sarah both had that "doctor's wife" gleam.

-Both girls looked really great at the end. Sarah looked the best she's ever looked on that show -- her clothes were usually sort of frumpy or weird, but I did like her dress, and someone finally thinned out her hair!
