Thanks for a great reign as STer of the week!

Liz is our resident gossip guru who gives us the dish on Hollywood, but now it's her turn to give us the dish on herself!

I'll kick us off w/ some questions. . .

Have you always been into celeb gossip?

How old are you?

Do you work/go to school?  Do you like what you do?

You asked me a good question, I want to know your answer: If you could look like any celebrity, who would you choose and why?

Congrats Liz!  Here are my questions.

You live in hawaii, right?  Is that where you grew up?  Do you always plan to live there?

You have a daughter I believe - how old is she, and what's her name?

What's your favorite store to shop at?

Favorite TV Show?

Favorite Movie?

Which island in Hawaii is your favorite?

Where do you find all of that great celeb gossip?

Yay! Thanks for picking me I'm so excited! Sorry, my computer decided to freak out yesterday.

Have you always been into celeb gossip?

I think I've been into celebrity gossip since high school. My mom and I don't have much in common because of a language and culture barrier, but we could always bond over Entertainment Tonight. I guess laughing at the life of American movie stars transcends any language.

How old are you?

I just turned 26. That's still mid-20s, right?

Do you work/go to school?  Do you like what you do?

I'm a semester short from graduating with a BA in literature with a minor in writing. However, I haven't gone back to school for a few years and it's kinda daunting for me to go back after being out of the game for so long. But I really want to go back soon.

I'm a part time waitress which isn't very glamorous or intellectually stimulating, but it pays the bills. I haven't found another job that allows me to only work a couple of days a week but still let me live the lifestyle I do. It makes more sense right now for me to be the primary caregiver for my daughter, plus I love staying home with her.

You asked me a good question, I want to know your answer: If you could look like any celebrity, who would you choose and why?

Hmm. . . I think I would pick Natalie Portman because she is just so naturally gorgeous. I mean the girl went bald but still looked beautiful. Or maybe someone like Briget Bardot. I'd just want to know how it feels to be that sexy for just one day.

You live in hawaii, right?  Is that where you grew up?  Do you always plan to live there?

I haven't always lived in Hawaii, but I don't see myself moving any time soon. My father was a military man, so I moved around a lot growing up so I really wasn't used to just settling in one place. When he retired here, I was kinda like," Okay, it's been three years. Let's go!" But now I feel like I have roots here and would have a harder time leaving.

You have a daughter I believe - how old is she, and what's her name?

My monster's name is Isabelle and she just turned 2.

What's your favorite store to shop at?

Hmm . . . I'm a bargain shopper so it's hard to say. I really like a boutique called Rafael here (I think some of you girls have ordered from it www.rafaelhawaii.com) because they have a lot more selection when it comes to brands. (We're a little behind the fashion times here on the island. Believe it or not, there are some people who still don't know what "Juicy" is outside of a fruit description.) I usually try things on there or at Neimans and then try to get a better price online or wait for it to go on sale.

Favorite TV Show?

Well, I'm a reality show addict. It's really bad and I'm completely embarassed by it, but I love it. I haven't really gotten into any new shows, but I love reruns of Seinfeld, Friends and Felicity. I'll also watch CSI and L&O:SVU if it's on.

Favorite Movie?

I love The Usual Suspects. That's one of the few movies that I didn't figure out how it was going to end. I also always watch Pretty Woman, Legally Blonde and Say Anything whenever they come on TBS or whatever. I'm ashamed to also say that I know most of the dialog to Speed, buy hey, Keanu was hella hot in that movie.

Which island in Hawaii is your favorite?

I love Oahu because I'm a city girl and I like being able to do my grocery shopping at 3am if I want. Maui comes in a close second because it's really beautiful and a lot more laid back than it is here. But if you get the munchies after 9pm, you better hope you got something in the house.

Where do you find all of that great celeb gossip?

I visit a few of my favorite gossip sites pretty regularly. Plus, The Gossipist always compiles a list of that day's hottest stories from a lot of different sites.

what is your educational background?

I am thisclose to getting my BA in literature. But I don't even think I'm going to go into teaching anymore.

what is your profession?

I'm a food service professional.

if not happy with your current profession, what would you ideally like to do?

I'm really not that sure. I want to finish my degree just to finish it. But lately I think I want to go to "beauty school" and become an aesthetician.

Edited because sometimes I kan't speel.

OK, I thought of some random questions.

Pearls or diamonds?

Mexican or Italian food?

McDonalds or Burger King?

Sweet or salty?

Rent a movie or go to the theater?

Read a book or wait until the movie comes out?

Pearls or diamonds?

I am a firm believer that diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Mexican or Italian food?

I love me some Taco Bell, but I can't live without my pasta. Especially anything smothered in alfredo sauce.

McDonalds or Burger King?

100% Mickey D's. I am convinced that they put crack in their french fries. My daughter was able to point out the golden arches before she was two.

Sweet or salty?

As I've gotten older, I'd say salty. I have a weakness for salt and vinegar chips especially. Gross, I know.

Rent a movie or go to the theater?

Well, I haven't seen a movie in a theater in FOREVER. Plus, I'm really deaf and easily distracted so it's good that I can playback scenes at home, or put on the closed captioning if need be.

Read a book or wait until the movie comes out?

I try to watch the movie first because I always like the book better and wind up disappointed. I just read Sideways a few months ago and still liked the movie, in part, because I saw the movie first I think.
