Help quick! I feel overdressed?

I probably shouldn't feel overdressed but... Im going out to dinner at a casual restaurant with a bunch of dentristy school students ive never met.  I have this feeling they will all be pretty causal.  And for some reason i dont feel casual heres what im wearing....  (my digi cam usb cord is not with me, so i have to explain)


 


Seven Jeans


Brown tank top


Deep tourquise round neck thin sweater


Magnolia brown and camel heels


Tourquisey necklace


am i over dressed? and if so how can i fix this?

It sounds like a cute outfit, but I HATE feeling overdressed.  Do you have some cute flats you can throw on instead?  Usually it's shoes that contribute to that feeling for me. . .

just switch the heels for flats and you should be okay. the outfit sounds super cute, but the heels might be pushing it over the edge into not casual.

haha... i dressed my whole outfit around these heels!  Ive been dying to wear these since ive gotten them!

well then screw everybody else. no way am i gonna talk you out of wearing a pair of shoes that you are dying to wear! you can just be the hot but maybe over dressed woman with great shoes. ain't nothing too terriblly wrong with that.

Do you have a plain tee you can wear with the necklace and the shoes?  That might make it not so overdressed (even though your outfit sounds really cute).

Wear it! It sounds very nice. I hate being over dressed, but I usually am. Its not your fault they don't know how to dress.

So i wore the outfit as is.... and i felt perfectly dressed and comfortable... turned out to be one of my fave outfit combos... took pics and will post in ts once i get my usb cord back next weekend.
