impulse ebay coat purchase- would it look less trendy without the buttons?

Personally I don't think it looks too trendy. I think its a pretty classic peice. I really like it actually.

But I'm sure you could easily take the buttons off and sew them back on if you didn't like the look.

Actually, I don't think it's that trendy at all. The color, cut, and length all say very "classic" to me, in a kind of cute/funky way, kinda like Audrey Hepburn. And I wouldn't remove the buttons--I think it'd look a little strange without them. I think especially with the black, the buttons don't stand out a ton, so I don't think they'll be all that noticeable IRL.

I think it's a really great looking coat and I think seeing it IRL will maybe ease your worries about it.

I wouldn't completely remove the buttons, but you could probably find some that are less. . .bobbly? if you don't like those.

it's not a trendy coat and i think the buttons make the coat look unique. you can always change the buttons to give it an even more cooler look.
