I got my order today, and while the shoes are very nice and I think they will definitely be comfortable, what I ordered (based on the pic) was this:

and what I got was this:

What I was wanting was a blue and brown shoe. Now, mine do have some of the blue on them, but the front is bright orange and fuchsia! Not exactly colors I wear often - and in the case of bright orange, not really at all. I realize that not all of these will be *exactly* the shoes pictured, but mine seem to be significantly different colored that I wish they would have stated the various colors on the site. Now I have to re-think my clothing options a wee bit.

I will say that the pattern is extraordinarily well matched, and the shoes seem well made. Overall I am happy that I only paid $33 for these and I'm sure they'll work fine. Have any of you others who ordered this shoe experienced the same issue with the pattern? Or do they look like what you saw on the web site?

I wasn't part of the Magnolia ordering, but wanted to say BUMMER!! If a shoe is described as brown and blue I do NOT expect to get a whole bunch of pink and orange in the print.

You have a great way of pulling off colorful shoes though, so I'm sure they won't go unworn.

You know, I got mine yesterday and just quickly tried them on and admired their beauty and it wasn't until I came home tonight and took them out of the box and put them away that I realized that they weren't the shoes I ordered! The exact same thing happened to me. I'm kind of disappointed because I liked the more subdued colors and I'll feel a little weird wearing these in my conservative office. They are really well made and seem comfortable and I probably would have bought bought this pattern if it were the only one available in my size but I really love the brown and blue ones.

Well, cc, I'm guess misery loves company, if nothing else. :( I took them out of the box and seriously thought they sent me the wrong shoes. I was thinking these were supposed to be the red/brown combo instead. But when I looked on the site I realized that there are just a lot more colors in the blue/brown than the site suggests.

zeitgeist4, thanks for the compliment! I will have to do some playing around and see what I can work out. Nothing like another wardrobe challenge...*s*

I just wanted to say that really sucks. I'd be super unhappy, although i think both pairs of shoes are cute.

I ordered those shoes, too, and mine also have orange, fuchsia, light peach and light purple on them. Here are a couple of pics. They seem to be a bit more subdued than the ones you received, atlgirl.

I don't really mind the fact that they're not just brown and blue like the description on the Magnolia Shoes site implies. They are beautiful shoes, nonetheless.

My problem is that the shoes don't fit. I ordered my usual size but my feet are wider, I guess, because these shoes are just too narrow for me. I was hardly able to try them on and I definitely won't be able to wear them. I suppose I'll just have to ebay them.

They're size 10. I think the size would've been fine, they're just too narrow. I actually had the same problem with a pair of BR heels once, so I guess my feet are just a bit on the wide side.

And yes, I will definitely sell them if someone wants them.

Is a 10 what you normally wear?  I ordered two pairs from them in a 9.5 and that's usually my true size, but I can wear a 9 sometimes and a 10 sometimes.  I should get mine next week.  I sure hope they fit!  I'll let you know.

Cricket - yes, I always wear a size 10, without exception. And since these shoes aren't even pointy, it just didn't occur to me that they might not fit.
