I just got tickets to see INXS in May! Yay, I love them! I saw them when I was a kid when Micheal Hutchence was still alive.


I hope my boyfriend Marty Casey will be opening for them too


Has anyone else heard that they are making a second season of Rockstar? With a different band? My guess is Van Halen, which would be really fun. But I couldn't really think of any other bands it might be.

Good for you! Although they were on Regis & Kelly this morning & if I have to hear them perform Pretty Vegas again I'm gonna puke! Does it say if Marty & the Lovehammers are opening? I know they have been touring with them here in the US.

I am excited about a 2nd season - I hadn't heard that. I loved that show.

ETA: DH heard the band for season 2 would be Queen? WTF? but what does he know....

I thought of that too and it would be really cool. But they are touring with Paul Rogers as their singer right now so I don't know....?

I thought the Lovehammers were opening all US dates for INXS...I bet they'll be better than J.D Fortune - sorry, I'm still bitter - I can't stand him and like Laken, I'm so sick of Pretty Vegas.  But have a great time!  Fun show!


Oh and I just read in the newspaper that the 2nd season is gonna be Van Halen - someone from Van Halen didn't confirm or deny which leads me to believe it is them...

I have such mixed emotions about INXS. I loved them when I was young. I saw them in 1988 on the Kick tour, and my room was wallpapered with photos of Michael Hutchence. So I watched the show religiously and rooted for Marty but wasn't unhappy with JD as a choice. I mean, he is incredibly sexy and does a great job with the old songs. But I hate the song Pretty Vegas and I HATE the video. So cheesy. And even though JD is hot, he is also so corny!

That being said, I tried getting tickets here, but they sold out. So I'm jealous that you get to go. Have fun!
