My daughter's babysitter gave her a Valentine's Goody bag w/Candies & Chocolates yesterday I picked her up. She was asleep so she gave the bag to me to *hold*.
So I'm driving home and I keep looking over at the bag on the passenger seat. Finally I pick it up at a red light and lo and behold, those yummy foil wrapped heart chocolates are inside, since my daughter was asleep in her seat, I thought, "Oh one chocolate wont hurt, there's plenty more", after I ate one, I thought, "Oh she doesn't need any more junk food, I'll have one more" and so on. When I got home, I had eaten every. single. piece. of. chocolate. WHY? I didn't even touch the hard candy! It was the chocolates! They were calling my name!
my mom used to make us split our big bag of halloween candy in half--half that we could eat right away, and half that she would "save" for us in the freezer in the garage for another time when there wasn't any candy around. every year, by the time we remembered to go look for the other half of the candy in like april, it was all gone. sneaky parents!
Haha, my SO and I got a box of french chocolates from a mutual friend who went to France. I ate most of the chocolate before he even noticed, leaving little of the rare and delicious commodity for him!
