Opinions on Airport Outfit

1st of all I want to say I'm very happily married, just so no one gets the wrong idea.

Ok so my boss is super cute and he's meeting me in Seattle for our business meeting.  Obviously when you're surrounded by beautiful people you want to look your best too.  Normally I would throw on some track suit & sneakers and toss my hair into a messy ponytail, but now that my cute boss is picking me up from the airport, I need to look a little more put together but still comfy.

Ok so how's this:

Mossimo® Piper Cork Wedges - BlackOr should I wear closed toe shoes since Im traveling?

I'd wear something more like the bc loafer wedges that everyone has or some cute, stylish track shoes, like puma's, otherwords it might look like you're trying too hard.

I'd wear that with Pumas or Converse sneakers or driving mocs and apply light makeup and freshen up after landing.

Close-toe shoe definitly.  It's too cold in Seattle right now, plus you never know, it might be raining.

That Outfit is cute.  I agree with everyone, about the shoes.  My feet always get cold on the plane, but that's probably because I take off my shoes to sleep.  You def. want to wear slip-ons (sneakers, loafers, etc) if you can.

I usually wear my Pashmina on the plane too, so I can cover up when I am cold.

I am like you, I used to wear like gym clothes, but then I saw all of these business people on the plane- and I couldn't do it!

When are you coming into Seattle?  It has been snowing off and on today, and that is supposed to continue for a couple of days.  If you are arriving soon, I'd go w/ closed toe.

That is a very cute outfit tho.

Every time I've been to the airport recently they make you take your shoes off when you go through security, so you might want to wear socks if that bugs you.

oh, i understand.  EVERYONE i work with is HOT... so i always feel a HUGE pressure to look really great whenever i see any of them.

that being said- i would wear closed toe shoes.  i love wearing boots that have zippers since you have to take your shoes off to go through security.  that way you don't have to deal with tying and untying your laces.
