Additionally, a few museums have extended hours on Fridays -- the Met is open 'til 9 and has chamber music. What kind of group is it? Younger? Older? The Carlyle has cabaret/lounge acts -- very swanky. If they're tourists, they might enjoy the bar "The View" (no connection to the insipid show). It's a revolving bar on the 47th Floor at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. A little cheezy, but fun.
