Please help! I'm planning a trip for clients of ours for the month of May. My boss wants me to put together a package of excursions that our clients can choose from to do while they are here for a conference. She said, "find things that are really hot right now, new and exciting." I'm at a loss. I've already got some broadway shows covered, but what else is there to do on a Friday or Saturday night, excluding clubbing? Please help! TIA :)
you might want to check out what's being performed at Lincoln Center (the opera, the ballet). Also Carnegie Hall. Additionally, a few museums have extended hours on Fridays -- the Met is open 'til 9 and has chamber music. What kind of group is it? Younger? Older? The Carlyle has cabaret/lounge acts -- very swanky. If they're tourists, they might enjoy the bar "The View" (no connection to the insipid show). It's a revolving bar on the 47th Floor at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. A little cheezy, but fun.
