Seriously, after the tax fiasco yesterday I didn't think it was going to get worse. Oh, but it did. We've been having problems with our water heater, like the pilot light just randomly going out for no reason. No rain, no wind, but the pilot light will go out. It's happened twice in the last two weeks.
So on Saturday, DH crawled under the house to measure the water pressure, which should be about 70 psi. It was 110. Not good. So he tried to adjust the water pressure valve, but it wouldn't budge. We called the plumber, who came out and fixed it this morning, but it was $370 to replace the damn water pressure regulator!!!
Sorry for your dilema. My husband always comments, "You know those big expensive houses on the waterfront? They don't belong to lawyers and doctors but those SOB thieves called plumbers." He loathes them because they know they have you cornered.
