I am doing an extern ship with a state government agency this semester. Two of the Administrative Law Judges took me to lunch today(their treat)...one of them is my supervisor. I wanted to give them thank-you notes.
I have stationary that I can write them out on, do I just stick them in their mailboxes here in the office...and what all should I say?
I think hand written thank you notes are way better than an email thank you. Personally, when I don't know what to say I think short and sweet is better. Just thank them for lunch and let them know you enjoyed their company or something to that effect.
I think just sticking the note in their mailbox is perfectly fine. I don't think anyone would expect you to mail it.
