I have a razr through tmobile and I love it! No problems at all. I've already dropped it a ton and no problems yet :) The only thing I've noticed is that it has a harder time getting service in certain types of buildings. My old phone had better service in the business building on campus than the razr, but eh, who needs reception when you have a sexy-ass phone!

I have verizon and I love them.  I've never had a dropped call or been in an area with no reception.  Their CS is very good also.

I had cingular and switched.  I thought they were awful. It was constant dropped calls, roaming, no service areas, low reception areas, couldn't find towers (in Chicago and I know they are there!!!!) the list just goes on.  It might have just been my crappy phone but I don't know.   I just know I hated them and had to get away!!

Sprint is ok but from what i've heard they are the largest cell phone provider with not enough network for their users which can cause problems.  My friend's brother has them and during the katrina debaticle it was over a month before he could receive or make outgoing calls.  She was on verizon and the minute she got over there she was able to call and receive calls without a problem.  Oh I had cingular during the hurricanes too (horrible horrible service) and they had to refund their customers for the poor service they were getting.

ditto, ditto, ditto!  i just got the new Motorola PEBL through T-Mobil and I LOVE it.  it's the cutest phone i've ever seen and the service rocks, plus my plan is way cheaper than cingular too.

can't post a pic of the pebl but go to www.motorola.com and they have a little video playing that shows it.

Hm. I am in need of a new cell phone (mine is 4 y/o and limping along), but DH recommended Cingular or T-mobile, and he's much more up on technology than I am. I've had Verizon (bad, bad CS) and Sprint (even WORSE CS) and am looking to try another carrier.

And you girls are KILLING me with the talk of the Razr...I wanted one a couple of years ago, but at $600 (when they first came out) and too many issues then, I held off. But it's time for a replacement phone *and* it's a business write-off for me, so I think I will have to do some more research this week. I have a weakness for clutch purses and want a Razr because even my teeny phone now is too bulky to fit in many of my clutches. It all comes back to fashion. *s*

Thanks girls for all of the help!!  The BF and I went to Cingular yesterday and I got the pink razr and BF got the black.  We love them!  We are getting a great deal through Cingular too.
