we knew it was coming and he's been ready for so long, but it still sucks.  i just found out about an hour ago...he was my favorite person ever, so cute!


so i thought i'd post a recent picture of him with my sister and me so you can all revel in his cuteness (but you'll have to imagine the polish accent yourselves, it just doesn't come across in film!)

i am so sorry.  he looks like a wonderful person--you can see the twinkle in his eyes in the photo (my grandpa was like that, too).  best wishes to you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My grandfather died a year ago in 2 days so I know how you feel. Take care of yourself. Did he live near you & will you be going to the services? It really does help to be near family....{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}

I too have a Polish grandpa, so I can relate to the cute accent. My heart goes out to you and your loss. It looks as though he was very happy with his loving family.

thanks everybody.


it's weird, i'm not sad.  i mean, i'm going to miss him, of course, but i'm just happy that he'll finally be pain-free.  one of the last things he said to me was "andy..i no understand why i have to suffer so long."  broke my heart.  i'm sure i'll cry once i'm with my family and at the service...though maybe not.  i cry over stupid commercials but hardly shed a tear when someone i care about dies.  i'm a freak i guess.


i'm not a very religious person, but he was, so i know he's up there with my grandmother and my mom (his daughter) now, watching over me. 


thanks again for all the hugs and good wishes.  you girls rock.
