Did you ever have one of those days where you feel like you're having a bad face day? Makeup doesn't look right and you're just all around bleh? Well, I've been having one of those weeks and I feel like the only solution is to buy some makeup

Can any of you suggest a good face pallette that has blush and a few eye shadows? I really don't use lip palettes because I find them inconvenient, but if there are a few in the palette that's fine. I'm just no good at know what the good cosmetic brands are, so i'm interested to see what you ladies use.

I find that when I am having a bad face day it is because of the colors that I insist using that dont work for me. Even though I know what looks the best, I sometimes get so sick of these combinations I need a day off from them, then in the end I am unhappy with the final result. What colors do you feel look the best on you? Maybe also the colors that people may say: Your makeup looks so good today! or simply- You look nice today. I have noticed when I wear greens, golds, browns with some light shimmer on my brown eyes I get more compliments. Also I need a brighter lip color- just gloss, or light pinks, or god forbid brownish lip colors dont work for me.  These are the pallettes I like best on me:

Thanks Lilyann. The colors that look best on me are browns, neutrals, and golds as well. I have brown eyes and fair skin. I really don't think bright Lip colors look right on me, they make me look too washed out, but I think brown on lips looks too unnatural, although I tend to gravitate toward them. Thanks for the suggestions!
