AE Sundress Review *Added IRL pics!!*

I know some of you were wanting this dress too, so I thought I'd give it a quick review



Anyways, it's really cute IRL, almost a jersey-like material, and really comfy.  I had a beater on when I tried it on, and loved how that looked.  I'm not sure if I got it *too* big, but I'll let you guys help me with that once I take pics of it on


For fit, I'd say size up one from what the AE size chart says you are in hip measurements.  I know that if I had gone with the size chart measurement, it would've been tight.


Oh, and I'll be taking those IRL pics after work tonight..

I just went to AE specifically for this dress and they didn't have it in store! So sad.

Nope, it doesn't have a shelf bra in it...Hence, that's probably why I'll be wearing beaters under it, so I can still wear a normal bra with it (I don't do strapless)..

Collette: I have a feeling that it won't be in stores until the end of this month.  Don't quote me on that though.  I only think this because my local store doesn't have them and they told me they don't get new floor set until the end of this month....Bigger city stores could get it in sooner though..

Same, I went there today and the sales clerk had no idea whether or not thye would be getting them. (It's really bad how it seems at many chain stores the headquarters doesn't tell the sales people what items to expect. Don't they realize that people do online window shopping?)

I think it fits you well - agree that it would look pretty silly too small, since it's supposed to be a little loose.  It would look hot with a belt too!


And you, my dear, must wear skirts more often!  I have many dancer-friends that would kill for calves/ankles/feet like yours!

That looks great on you!  You have me wanting that dress now.  It seems really versatile.  You could wear it with a beater underneath, with a shrug/cardi over it, or to the beach as a coverup.

Thanks girls!

I've actually decided that I'm going to exchange it for the next size down; While I don't totally mind it in this size, I just don't feel it's a proper fit when I'm wearing it. I think a medium will fit a lot better, but still give me that slouchiness that I like.
