I managed to save a few $$$ last month so I thought I'd treat myself and let my shopping ban slip just a tad for one, teensy, inexpensive skirt from Old Navy. (I'm slightly obsessed with wearing skirst lately.)
So here it is:
And it's pretty cool. It gets a little wrinkly towards the bottom but I suppose if I ironed it, it wouldn't matter. It's lined and the length lands right at the knee. It's very cute on and the horizontal stripes are surprisingly flattering. I wore it with a beater, a brown half cardi and some red wedge mary janes. It was such a cute outfit! I've already worn it twice since I got it.
All in all, not bad quality and cuteness factor for the $30 price tag.
*sigh* Now it's back to the ban...
But if I'm lucky, the boy said he'd buy me this one b/c I was torn between the two on which to buy (only in a great green and brilliant blue color):
oh I'm glad that skirt is working out for you blubirdie. I was looking at it a few weeks ago but didn't get it. I might have to let my shopping ban slip a tad and get it too. It was so cute irl. how else are you going to wear it?

I wore it to work already too and I wore a deep red v-neck sleeveless sweater and I wore the same brown cardi over it (I wanted to stay boring on top for work).
I'm thinking about working some teal blue into it somehow but I'll have to play with that to see how it works out.
I have an excellent brown 70s/motorcycle style jacket that I think I'll wear with it next time I go out and wear it, with bronze shoes.
