Hey guys!

Not sure where to post this, so I guess fashion is as good a place as any.  I have a pair of seven a-pocket white cords from last year that I just found in my closet.  For whatever reason, one of the pant legs has this nasty yellowing stain.  I don't know how this could've happened if they've just been sitting in my closet and they're clean; but I digress...

Is there any way I could get this out?  I thought of soaking them in oxy-clean but I think bleach would be better.   Is it safe to use bleach on white cords that have tan-colored stitching?  Or is this stain hopeless?  Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, if it were me I think I'd try some kind of spray&wash or a paste of oxyclean before bleach (it always scares me to bleach stuff that isn't just regular old cotton material).  Put some on and let it sit for a couple hours before you wash it.  If you can still see the stain after they come out of the washer, don't dry them and move onto some diluted bleach.

soaking them in bleach might make the yellowing worse.  i would take them to a drycleaner and see if they can't get it out.  if that doesn't work try calling the people from seven and asking what cleaning methods they recomend.  they might have some idea since it is their product.  if that doesn't work, the only thing that i could suggest is maybe having them died a darker color that will color the stain.  but that is if you really like the fit, and if you are willing to give up on the white color.  that way if you died them you would at least still be able to wear them as opposed to them being ruined and never being able to wear them again.

Or you could always turn them into capris/bermudas, depending on where the staining is !

Thanks ladies!   I ended up doing a spot-test with oxy-clean and it looked okay. So I soaked them in oxy-clean the other morning, and now they are as good as new.  Yay, you guys are the best!
