Yay! I found an apartment for $550 a month. It lacks a dishwashers but has a ton of room and a living room surrounded with windows. Love it! My first time living alone-I want to move in today!

My lease with the two weirdo girls ends in August and the new one starts the same time. So I have a ways to go. Apartments go quick here so you have to sign them way in advance. I'm going to hit up some flea markets this summer for vintage finds.

oh yeah...the first apt of your own rocks. you will always remember it fondly. i still remember my small little studio apt and wish for it fondly. oh...the peeing with the door open, the walking around naked after a shower, playing whatever kind of music you want in whatever room you want, your color schemes, oh dear...your whatever you freaking want!

yay jen! i remember reading your last post and was mad for you!  I was worried when I moved into my apt all by myself last year but I like living alone for the most part and honestly I get so involved with work and my friends that I rarely am at my apartment alone.  Just to sleep, change clothes, or hang out with friends.
