Good Time To Start?
Permalink Closed

I'm having a Super Bowl party on Sunday and DH and I don't know what time to start it.  Last year when we had it, we started it at 2 or 3 even though the game started at six thirty.  This year, we don't know what to do.  We want to start it kind of early because everyone has to work and we figure they'll leave before it's over and finish watching the game at home.  Both sets of parents will leave early and all the older people will leave early.  I have to admit most people aren't there to watch the game it's just an excuse to have a party.  So, if you're throwing a party, what time are you having it?  If you're going to one, what time does it start?  TIA!

the party we are going to starts at 5:00p. unless we score some tix for under $2000 in which case we won't be going to the party — fat chance of that happening though.

the host of our party is a huge steelers fan (when you live in detroit you have to have a backup team since the lions suck) and everyone there will be really into the game so i think everyone will stay until the end despite having to work the next day.

one that we have is at 4 and one is at 5.  we'll probably go to the 4 o'clock one at 5, and i'm leaving to go to the other one at half.  since there won't be any older people at the parties, i think everyone will stay until the end, and if the steelers win, we will be walking *cough* stumbling, to the bars after the game.

The one I'm going to starts at 2:30, but they'll all be staying til the end of the game, I'm sure.  I'm not a football fan, nor do I care (or know) who's playing in the Superbowl.  I'm going for the food and Superbowl commercials.

We were invited to one that begins at 4:00, neither DH, my daughter or me are into football. This sounds terrible but I'm going for the food and the drinks.

Beats me cooking!

I'm not into football either, I'm just hosting it because DH wants me to!
