Can someone tell me what the sizing is like in Meli-Melo jeans? Im a 28 in sevens and citizens.  ShopBop only has 29's available in the styles i want and not sure if they will work.  


Also, on these trousers, do you think the braided portion would make my hips look bigger, and be unflattering, you also see a similar thing around the hips on the gauchos too?  What are your girls thoughts on these trouser jeans, and the gauchos?

I can't help you with sizing but I think that both pairs are really cute and I don't think the hip detail will be unflattering.  I don't know how much they are on shopbop but I just found them on Active Endeavors for $124 and they have a 28. 



 


ETA:  Ok, I just found them on shopbop and they're considerably cheaper there.  But when I looked (like 30 seconds ago) they had a 28 and I was even able to add it to my cart.  Maybe you should check again?

I am usually a 27 in stretch jeans like Seven and COH. I took a 28 stretch in Meli-Melo. I tried on the gauchos last summer...they are so freakin' cute on it's crazy.

My friend ordered them online and had them shipped to the office, so I saw her hold them up but she didn't try them on. They looked really, really big.
