has anyone watched this? now that i have free time, i've been catching up on my tv. i was watching this for the first time tonight (it's on vh1) and it's hilarious. it's like the bachelor, but ghetto. none of the women have real names (they're names are like new york, hottie, and pumkin). they had this challenge where the women have to make chicken, and this one girl took a whole raw chicken, put ramen and marshmallows on top of it, and stuck in the microwave for like two minutes. and she actually thought it would be good. it's amazing how enjoyable trashy tv can be.

I want to see this! I need to tivo it... I saw the ads for it, and the idea facinates me for some reason. first, flavor flav is disgusting (rememeber him with bridgette nielson?) and the women that would compete for him... hoochie... I guess I'm facinated by the trash factor...

ugh, don't get me started. i think the show is totally embarrassing and even more degrading than the majority of "reality" shows out there.

I haven't even seen it yet, but I'm sorry - this late into the "reality" tv game, people that go on the shows know what it is & deserve what they get!

I'm really not into reality shows but I saw the first episode when I was in LA. My bf's friend works on it so it was kind of fun to hear about some of the stuff that was cut or not caught on tape. It didn't hold my interest enough to make me want to continue watching it though. Well that, plus sometimes reality shows fill me with a mix of disgust, pity, frustration, depression...usually I just wind up wanting to throw my tv out the window. This one doesn't seem more degrading to me than any of the rest. At least he was part of a seminal music group. By the way, has Chuck D issued a statement on this like he did with Flav's other reality show? Or has he just given up?

I've actually been watching this. It's pretty funny. I kept laughing because Hottie actually thought the chicken was cooked.

I love this show!  I watched the first few episodes but I missed the one from Sunday with the chicken.  That's ok, I'm sure it will be on again.  These shows are awful but I really enjoy seeing how lame and stupid people can be.  I also REALLY don't get the whole concept for competing for the affection of freaking Flava Flav.  How gross is that?  What really gets me is that girls are crying over him because they're "falling in love."

Also, not to hijack but has anyone seen Beauty and the Geek?  It's awful too.  There was a girl on there who didn't recognize a picture of John Kerry, even when given the clue "This senator lost the 2004 presidential election."  I know a lot of people don't keep up with politics and current events but it's not like she was asked to do something like pick the prime minister of Australia out of a crowd.  I was really amazed (and saddened) when she didn't know.  I can't remember for sure what she answered but I think she said Al Gore

I felt so bad for that girl. I couldn't believe she didn't know who John Kerry was. Poor girl...
