see a girl on the street subway whatever and she's super stylish looking and wonder "hmmmm I wonder if she's on stylethread". I had one of those yesterday on the subway, I eyed her shoes she eyed my purse. I almost wish I had like a stylethread card to hand to her. Am I nuts? Does anyone else do this?

OMG I do this all the time!  Actually, since so many girls on here live in Chicago, I often wonder "oh, maybe that's collette, or shopgirl82, etc" LOL.

All the time!  I know there are only a few Central FL girls though so it's probably never them.

That doesn't happen when I'm at home (I don't recall anyone saying they're in RI) but when I go other places, it totally does! When I was in NYC last month, I saw a girl on the street with a similar style to lynnie's. I wanted to shout out "style thread" or something to see if it was her, but I was afraid she'd look at me like I had 10 heads. Also, when I head up to MA for shopping, I often wonder... I know there are a few girls from up that way.


Haha, imagine if we had a code or card, and someone gave it to you. How cool would that be?

that's an interesting idea... I have cards, but could entertain the idea of having some generic ones made up that people could download and print from the site (you can buy business card sheets at office supply stores, right?)  what do you guys think of that? what would it say?

I'm in MA, and I keep waiting to run into someone I recognize, if only from their threadstyle pics! It's only a matter of time, Boston isn't that big!

I'm in Boston and I go to NYC a lot and I always wonder if I know anybody, especially if I'm shopping!

Maybe we can get necklaces or rings or something so it would be easier to pick out?

I do the same thing.Wel there's not a lot of girls here in Connecticut but I'm in NYC a lot.I always wonder if I'm going to bump into Honey, Dot or CC - I wouldn't know them in unless the slapped me.But as sample sales I'm always eyeballing the girls to see if we ca make some kind of "ST" connection........geez I'm such a cornball.

LOL I am waiting to crash into LA ST girls...when I got out more I was always on alert at the mall.

Wouldn't it be cool that if we are a member we had some kind of pin or keychain we could buy?  If it was cute I would totally buy it for like $5, plus it would contribute to ST!!!


Or, what about a keychain engraved with the ST name that holds cards that have the website info, like for "recruiting members"  How fun??

I don't know why but all this talk about secret codes and stuff makes me think of the password for the Water Buffalo's from the Flinstones. Ack Ack a Dack Dack Ack a Ack.


We do need someway of acknowledging each other, though I would love to hear the stories of us doing this to random strangers and them looking at us like we're insane.
