for anyone who got their dailycandy this past friday, this is the site with downloadable workouts that i'm referring to. http://www.itrain.com

in the off season, i prop up my bike on a stationary trainer, use one of my training videos and make my own spinning class. my videos are fine, but as with any workout video/dvd they get a bit repetitive. so when i got my dailycandy e.mail yesterday, i was thrilled. i ended up downloading the 40-minute spinning workout to my iPod last night and hopped on my bike this morning. it was EXCELLENT. seriously close to being in a spin class at the gym. the instructor is really motivational, has a nice voice and gives good instruction. plus, the music is great. from what i understand new workouts are added each month so i will be mixing it up even more.

now i wish i had a treadmill so that i could do the running workouts.

thanks for posting this hotcocoa this may be just the thing i need to change up my workouts when i am on the road!  i can only do my treadmill 35 min run so many times before i start to get bored!

ETA: I downloaded 5 programs last night for $10 and i just used the ITread one... SO FREAKING AWESOME!  i it.  the chick running it was so motivational and definitely kept me going... it was a MUCH better workout than i can give myself.  it felt like i was in a class (which i miss so much)...  two thumbs up!

i also did 10 mins of the yoga workout to just get stretched out from the running (my legs were really tight from skiing this weekend and then running for 40 minutes) and it was really good too.  however, the instructor had different names for some poses and i wasn't familiar, so i'll have to follow the PDF directional they give you for poses in order to do more of this workout in the future.

i also downloaded: IStretch combo, IBallet and ITeen Boxing
