I know that the ever-talented bumblebee was making some silk ones for some of the girls here a while back. Maybe she has some leftover fabric or you could try your hand at making one yourself. I remember her pictures, and hers turned out awesomely.

thanks, stephanie! it's true, i can make you one if you want, just PM me. i think the velvet you posted is really cute, but it looks like it attracts lint, you can tell even from the picture.

if you do want to buy one, i know they have a lot of them at henri bendel in new york and at jest jewels on union street in san francisco. i don't think either of them have websites, but it would be easy enough to call up and have one charge-sent, i would think.

I can attest to bumblebee's talent! I just received the headband she made for me and I LOVE it (thanks bumblebee!) it's black silk and looks just like this one, but cuter.
