Superbowl Party
Permalink Closed

We're hosting a Superbowl Party at our house this year, and I need ideas on what to serve.  So far one friend is bringing either chili or italian beef sandwiches, cut up into appetizer portions and another friend is either bringing some type of meatball type thing or eggrolls.

Whatever I serve, I would like it to be easy & already prepared so I can enjoy the day.  TIA!

Last year I ended up ordering a bunch of platters from Safeway, but it ended up being way too expensive, and we were left with way too much food.  I might buy a veggie platter, but that's about it.

I think the veggie platter is a good idea.  Maybe a bag or two of chips and or pretzels.

I think I'd probably leave it at that - how many people are you having over?

i like serving tortilla chips with refried beans, cheese and olives (my mother-in-law does this and adds ground meat to it). i bake it in the oven about 10-15 minutes, then people just scoop out the tortillas onto a plate. pretty tasty!

you could also see if the bakery at safeway (or wherever) could make you steeler's cookies or something!

I love the Steelers cookie idea!  I'd say we'll have between 15-20 people total.  I want to make sure there's enough snacks, but not go crazy like last year!
