well the description on the web site said zipper back, maybe its just look like a elestic waist from the pic, I dont like the elestic waist on clothes it gives me to much pooch in the belly area.

I actually have this skirt from JCPenneys and I really like it. It's not elastic in the waist, it's got a zipper in the back. It's a really cute skirt and it's got a really nice shape. HTH!

I just wore mine with a tank top the color of the flowers. I was in a casual atmosphere but if you're planning to wear it to work, I would think that a work appropriate top in either the pink, yellow, or green in the skirt would look good. You can never go wrong with white either.

Yeah, I have a similar style skirt from JCP. Just like Nunzi said, it has a zipper back. I love to wear it on casual summer days.
