colors that dont work on you

I am thinking of this question because I just put some yellow tops together for our sweet KayKay. And I was a bit sad because I love yellow , but it looks terrible on me. I have alot of pink undertones- maybe this is why. What color\colors can you just not wear?

Pink, bright/sky blue, certain tans/beiges

Yellow. Pale gray. Most pastels (except for mint green and pale blue - but it has to be the right blue). White - though I wear it anyway. Navy. Tan.

I have pale skin and dark hair, so anything that brightens me up instead of washing me out is welcome. I love jewel tones, nearly all shades of green, and bright, bold colors. Muted/muddy colors don't work for me at all.

hmm, I think pretty much anything goes with my skin, but when it comes to shoes I find that white and a certain shade of pink doesn't look right.

Cream, khaki, beige...I can wear them as neutral bottoms, but I need color near my face.

Most yellows, some pale yellows look right, especially if I have a little tan.  Also, orange

I have never owned, worn or even tried on a piece of orange clothing. I think it is a truley hideous color!

That said.. I think I can probably wear anything with my skin.. but I choose not to wear:

bright red, bright yellow, grey, or bright white.. and orange of course.

Bright yellows and greens, fuschia and hot pink. Pure white is also not the best on me.

most every pastel looks awful on me, except for baby blue.  Orange, yellow and brown look bad.  Most bright jewel tones look good on me.  Anything color that looks muted looks like crap.

All pastels, except some shades of yellow -- I look totally washed out.. I also look terrible in most shades of brown and certain olivey greens, which make my complexion look muddy.

Light gray, beige, olive green, and most yellows look awful on me. Pretty much everything else goes, but I tend to stay away from all shades of red and bright, construction orange.

For sure yellow and orange... sometimes certain cream and beige colored tops wash me out.

Yellow (except warm mustard yellow), lavender, peach, fuchsia, pale beige - they all make me look pallid and sickly.
