in need of a functional raincoat... any favs?

what is your fav? I was thinking of a north face type with gore-tex- as long as it will keep me dry and warm while running around campus when its pouring and has a good hood (big head) i'm good to go

any recs?



(i was going to go with north face because i have a fleece i can zip into one......i don't really wear it by itself anymore because of the trendiness)

I have a pink and black Pacific Trail rain jacket.  I got it at London Fog.  It's pretty neat, you it can fold into a zippered pouch.

the north face is my favorite old standby.  not totally fashionable, but it keeps you dry.

When I was in college I got mine and the campus bookstore so that it was in school colors and had the logo on it.  That is always an option if you like you school and go to football games (it got a ton of use at the raining games!!).
