I can't believe I'm actually thinking about this since fall/winter is my favorite time of the year.


Every summer I wear the famous $5 flip flops from Old Navy. Pretty much I'm tired of wearing them. I know spring or summer isn't here yet, but it's so hot in Houston and I want to get a head start. I started my spring/summer wish list already and I want to add footwear as well. I pretty much have heels  and flats covered. Now I need flip flops. Which ones will you be wearing this spring and summer? And yeah, this is pretty much  a selfish poll since I need ideas. Thanks girls!

I wear my JCrew ones a lot, but am thinking about getting some Havaianas. I know people also like Reef or Rainbow flip flops

Havainaias rock! I have them in gold and silver and they are really comfy. I'm also planning on getting Rainbow flips too.

I think Rainbows are pretty much the golden standard for leather flip flops.  They are a little pricey (like$40 IIRC) but definitely worth the price.  They last for a long time and are great quality.  I have the black with thin strap but my friend has the classic ones in tan that are also great but show dirt a lot more easily if you aren't careful.


I also have a pair of Roxy flip flops that I think I have had for about 5 years and they are still going strong.

I don't really wear rubber flip-flops "out", but Gap makes great leather ones every year. I wear them to death and they hold up really well.


I also want some Bernardos when my Gap lookalikes wear out:

I echo the reefs suggestion- best flip flops I've ever owned. I really like the look of the J. Crew flip flops, but I've had horrible luck with them. I never can seem to break them in- even after a couple of wearings, they leave my feet all cut up and I give up. It's too bad because they're adorable!!!

I'm a huge fan of Havaianas...they wear really well. Rainbows were the universal flip flop king when I was still in school. They look like they'd support your feet really well too.
