This is the Coach bag I'm thinking of ordering for my Spring/Summer bag. I'm just not sure which style.  I love my Patchwork Tote - so I'm really drawn to the tote - but then again, I haven't tried the satchel??  Opinions??

Well, I think it completely depends on what you prefer to carry.  Carrying a satchel is a lot different than carrying a tote - the main reason being, you cannot put a satchel on your shoulder, ever.  You have to carry it w/your hands.  If you don't like that, I'd get the tote.  But if you can handle the satchel, I'd get that - you just got a tote and it'd be fun to have a different style!


I just got my first Coach satchel purse after having only Coach bags that could fit on my shoulder - it took some getting used to, but now I love it!

Thanks for the info.  I called on this particular bag and both the online people and the store assoc. told me that this one could be carried on the shoulder - hmmmmm....... wonder why they lied??

Hmm, maybe I'm wrong.  I know the straps on my satchel are too short for me to carry on my shoulder, but I have a different bag.  Can you go check it out in person, or maybe ask joceybaby, I think she purchased and returned it?

Rar - I have tried on the satchel you are looking at and it WILL fit over your shoulder. It is a nice size actually too. I would get that one!
