I am a total sucker for skirts with pockets, thanks to my chapstick obsession, and wearing skirts at least 1x/month is one of my new year's resolutions.  I wish the wash was a little darker, but the color name says "pure wash" so I am hoping it is darker in person. Thoughts, for $44? You really should go to the site & look at the back view, which is my favorite part.

UPDATE:


Bah, this skirt was a disappointment IRL. My least favorite part was the material. It is darker in person, but it has that stripey white threading that cheaper denim has, plus it was really rigid -- not at all soft (I hate stiff denim!) The fit was cute, and it seemed pretty TTS, but it's designed to fit tight across the hips, so I couldn't use the pockets anyway, unless I wanted a chapstick-shaped bulge (no thanks).

i agree with everybody, excellent skirt. i don't think $44 is bad, it's actually something that your price per wear will be quite low rather than the other way around. it's totally versatile. with dressy top and heels for going out or tanktop and flipflops for the summer time. great choice.

The back is adorable!  I would totally get it (and actually, I might now).  I love denim skirts because they are so versatile--I have at least 5 or 6 of them and wear them all the time.
