I'm looking for a bag to carry my books, but so far I haven't found anything. What do you use to carry your books? TIA!

I recently bought this bag below... but before that I was using my bottega venetta the classic black woven bag, and then before that I was using my coach bookbag that recently broke :(  Those were the bags ive used.  But looking for other ideas, I saw a beautiful isabella fiore in nordies posted below that im considering getting.  Not sure what your budget is.

How does it work? I keep going to build your bag and it explains everything, but where do you put the information. I'm so confused..

Nicoley013, those bags are beautiful. Unfortunately, it's out of my budget range. I was hoping to spend 100 and if needed I'll go over.

Harwin. Yeah, I went once long long long time ago. I thought it was so tacky. But who knows.

it's actually easiest (and best, imo) to write down all the colors and stuff you want in an email with very specific stuff with a jpeg of the image you want and then call them to talk to them. i live in philly so i was able to go into the store and it was way easier to talk to somebody than to just send an email. the people who you talk to you on the phone are also the people who make the bags so they can tell you if the colors will work with your picture or if the picture needs to be resized or of the picture just won't work or etc. i carry the small civillian with a laptop sleeve inside and it's just enough room for my school books. if i go away for the weekend and want to carry my laptop with me i actually need another bag. my bf carries the next larger version, the civillian, and his is huge. but be forewarned, it took me months to find an image that i was totally set upon so if you're looking for a bag to be here next week you're better off going somewhere else (timbuk2 also does this, but without the images on the bag and thier site lets you look at pics of the bag with the colors you want) because after the weeks of deciding on an image then it took about two months to be made because they do have a waiting list. oh, and the bag costs a couple hundred so it's definitely something that you want to think about before deciding.

I carry mine in a really boring black messenger bag.  I would replace it, since it's getting kind of worn, but I only have one semester of school left, so I'm just gonna tough it out.

If I were to get a new bag, though, I'd get one of these:

Expandable Messenger Bag (1439)

from Manhattan Portage, around $60.00.  They come in a wide variety of colors.  Supposed to be very durable, and I have some friends who love them.
