STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

My dad and stepmom are having a baby girl, which means I get to be a big sister for the first time in my life! Yay!

I feel the need to get her something that she'll always treasure as a keepsake and that she will actually use. My little sister will be named Tilda and my stepmom's due date is March 24th.

Here's what I can't get her.

• Any gold jewelry (Gold is MUCH cheaper in Thailand and it's 24k)


• Clothes, except for a snow jacket (Again, much cheaper in Thailand)

Now what CAN I get her? I was thinking something utterly and wholly impractical like some Hermes booties or some other luxury item, but that's not exactly a lifelong keepsake...at least not a wearable or useable one. I'm willing to spend up to $150.
