Mixing jean colors?

hmm i never heard you had to wear the same color jean... I actually think it looks BETTER when you dont try to match.

Eh, I'm not really a fan of denim on denim no matter what the color combo. I think jeans should be worn with another fabric jacket and denim jackets with khakis or cotton pants or a printed skirt or something. I have seen a *few* people pull it off and look great (one of bri's TS posts stands out) but I think this is a really hard look to do.

uh, im super sorry if any of you gals do that but imo wearing a jean jacket with jeans looks silly. there are way too many options out there for jackets/blazers to have to do the jeans with a jean jacket.

Ok, I have to admit, I do this once in awhile, and I think it is fine as long as the two colors aren't the same. I know, some people say if you do this, the colors have to be the same, but that looks like a "jean suit" to me.

Hehe! I remember getting a jean jacket with plaid lining in 2nd grade. I drapped it over my shoulder waiting for the school bus after school and thought I was soooo cool!

My thoughts exactly. I could never do that because it makes me look like some denim monster.

I completely agree with this. I don't want to offend anyone, but I never wear a jean jacket w/jeans. I just hate the way it looks. If you are wearing jeans, wear a different color coat - corduroy, colored trench, blazer - anything but denim! I love jean jackets, but i only wear them w/ pants that aren't denim & skirts.
