They're cute, but espadrilles look pretty bad pretty fast (I scotchguard mine, which helps, but still...) For me, that's too much to spend for something that will only last one season. But I'm in school right now. If that's not a lot for you, though, go for it. They are adorable...

Aside from the fact that I wouldn't want to spend that much on non-leather shoes, I don't like how the tie is black (or is it dark brown?). It's too much contrast with the rest of the shoe.

I love them, I love the contrast! I had thought that espadrilles would be going away, but I bought my first pair when I worked at BCBG....that was 4 years ago and they haven't stopped being in fashion. I purchased an ivory grosgrain pair and they have yet to look nasty!

But you must check out e-bay in a few months because I have gotten a few pairs that are from the fall season for under $30!

Ditto. A white tie would be better... I say keep looking.
