BR Cardi Wrap - IRL pic need opinions
Permalink Closed

Okay, so I was so so excited to get this cardi wrap (thank you Rar and LSU!), but now I am not sure about it.

Two issues: First, I had to get a large b/c medium was sold out and I didn't think a small would fit. But, now I feel like the large is too big everywhere but fits in the chest. (My chest is 38" so technically I'm usually a "large" but I usually size down b/c I hate things being baggy on top). For example, the arms of this just seem baggy. Are they supposed to be like this? Second, I don't know if I'm wearing it right - it doesn't seem to be wrapping as "seamlessly" as I thought it would - like some sections are a bit lumpy and I'm worried it makes me look fat.

Alright Lisa-  I think you should return it and go for a smaller size.  Where did you get it from?  The store? online? can the store do a search and charge send it to you in a medium? I know BR can do this its just finding a SA that is willing to search the computers for it and call the store for you. I think the medium would fit perfectly.  The large just looks too big and sloppy all over.

Thanks, lsu - well, I ordered it through CS b/c it is no longer online and she said it was sold out in medium, so I think it is small in ivory or medium in black (but I really want ivory.)

Here's a better pic with jeans. Maybe I'm just not the right body type for this?

I like it on you, especially in the second picture with the cardi wrapped more tightly.  I think it looks cute!

I think the second picture is definately an improvement, but how much work was it to get it that way? And do you think it will stay put? I guess my issue with it is: is it worth the hassle? Maybe after you get used to it it won't be a hassle to put on or fussy to keep it that way....but that's why i decided against the whole cardi wrap idea. Although I know some people absolutely love theirs, which is what peaked my curiosity to begin with!

so all that to say...i'm no help.

The second pictures where you pulled the wrap tighter looks great.  Was it hard to get that tight?  If it stays in place I would definitely keep it.

BTW - I've got a large chest too and ended up getting the wrap in medium because of the same issues you mentioned.

I think you need a medium. I think it looks very cute.. but there is just too much fabric floating around and the medium would fix that.
