I need to have a few pairs of jeans altered, but I wanted to keep the original hem of my jean.. Does anyone know if Nordstrom does this, and if so how much do they charge? Were you happy with the quality of work? And how long does it usually take for it to be done?
Columbus girls... Anyone in columbus that you would recommend that is able to keep the original hem in the jean? I sort of wanted it to be done quickly as I need these jeans for friday morning.
Thanks!

the golden needle on morse road will do same day alterations (usually). it's in a small shopping plaza.. sorry i don't know the address but i know you can google it and find it. I love them and recommend them to everyone, however, i have never had them do a tricky (original) hem...
i don't think nordstrom or saks would be able to do jeans within a week, but nordstrom charges $18 for tricky hem. you could also try calling dr. mojoe or indigo nation to see if they do alterations that quickly.

ditto to Ritz...
from my experience, dr. mojoe and indigo nation take at least a week for alterations... and nordstrom's gives you a 7 day window but if you originally bought the jeans there and whine and beg they might get them done for you earlier... i've had them do hems same day before for me after i threw enough of a fit (or gave them a convincing story on why i needed them ASAP!)
