uh, yeah, i think so. but i also think the shirt with words on them are silly anyway so im prolly not the best person to ask. i also think, however, that some people might be offended by it.

I can't say that others wouldn't be offended but I wouldn't be and I'm black and have been my whole life lol.

I would probably ask you where you got it because I've been looking for a cute one for a while now I wouldn't take it as you making fun of anyone by wearing it, but that's just my opinion.

If I saw you wear it I would interpret it in a positive/complimentary way, but i'm white so maybe it's not my place to say.

what would be your reason for wearing it?  some people are offended by everything, so it's a very relative question.

Yeah, I wouldn't be offended since I'm white, but someone out there probably will be.  If you do decide to get it, I'd be prepared to explain what it means and why you're wearing it because someone is bound to ask.

Hmmm....  well, if you got that shirt you posted above, black girls might think you're trying to "kiss up" or something.  I guess it would be like if a white girl was wearing it, what would be the first thing most people would think?  I think the "black is beautiful" would be better.

Hmm, I see your reasoning.  I think that if you wore it as a political statement against racism, it's totally cool and I say go for it, even if 'cool political statement' wasn't your original cause.  I think it could be offensive if it was worn in a way that was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

For all anybody knows, you could be partially black - I don't really think it's anyone's business, and anyone who would blatantly ask you if you were while searching for some validating reason for you to be wearing that shirt is much too rude to deserve a dignified answer.

That being said, I would feel self-concious about wearing the "The Best Girls Are Black" one not being black myself.  I would totally wear the "Black is Beautiful" one though.

I wouldn't be offended and I'm the only black woman at my job.

About a week ago a girl wore a tee that said I Love Black Men to work and was asked to change because the shirt was offensive.  I wasn't offended at all but somebody obviously was.

In no way do I find that offensive. If anything, like some others said, it's definitely more positive!

Umm, if someone wore a 'Polish girls are beautiful' tee, I'd be delighted. Why would anyone be offended? Silly if you ask me!
