So while I was at Saks, I ventured to take a little look at this beauty.
Big mistake. I am officially in love. Must have this bag. The bag is actually bigger than I expected and the chain feels very substantial. The quality of the bag was overall very impressive. I just love it so much.
I'm thinking of opening a Saks card when I get it to get the additional 10% off. So yeah...I'm getting this...unless someone has a convincing argument why i shouldn't. Or if the nearly $800 could be better spent elsewhere. This will be my first MJ purchase...and I'm understanding why you ladies love him.
P.S. Detroit, how much stuff can you fit in yours?
ok, it sounds like you really want this bag, so i'm not going to convince you too hard otherwise. Unless of course:
1) you really can't afford it. $800 is a lot for a bag, and even if you can, i'd think about it for a couple of weeks at least.
2) you don't really need a bag
3) you have a bag in your closet that already kind of serves this purpose- maybe another black bag in that size or shape with that length strap for example
My concern also is that while the chain looks strong, it might dig into your shoulder and hurt you if you like to carry a lot around with you. Also, have you liked this style of bag for a long time? you don't want to get sick of the bag, the pockets, or the hardware.
it is a great bag isn't it? I can't fit a whole lot into it - a wallet, cosmetics, tissue, cell phone... but it's a gorgeous little bag. I love the hardware on it too - I've never worn it on my shoulder, I usually just carry it by it's chain - so I've never encountered any discomfort in using it - but I don't think the chain would be uncomfortable on a shoulder. if you love it go for it! I had my eye on it when I saw it in a spread (vogue?) around a year ago - love the petrol color and gold hardware... when I saw it was finally available on eluxury in the petrol, I snatched it up!
