MissMee- were those pillows from pier one?  i forgot to make a stop there today, and i'm too tired to go now, if they are, is it worth a visit for their xmas section?

after shopping ALL DAY all i picked up were some items from sephora.  i guess i wasn't in the shopping mood, or feeling too guilty about my huge saks order yesterday.  i did some research while shopping though.  i'm trying to decide between..

But, since I braved it today, here's what I got :

(Espresso shot glasses, for my new machine)

(Frothing pitcher...)

(My NYE shirt...Haven't figured out the bottom half yet...)

YAY!!! I finally found some brown boots!

Carrie, I love those boots....and ditto, I am never, ever going shopping on the day after Christmas again. I went to the mall today which was pretty much the worst idea ever. I only went because my husband could tell I was bored out of my mind so he gave me some money and told me to get out of the house. The mall was so packed that I couldn't even enjoy myself and I ended up coming home empty handed.

But I did get this from the Shopbop sale.

i got a bunch of stuff that i needed and only spent like $25 out of pocket.  I got:

a padded extra thick yoga pad from marshalls

some camel ralph lauren gloves with buttons up the front from hecht's

this abercrombie scarf (auntie got me a $30 gift card, felt bad since i hate the store, but liked this a lot- will be great in the spring-its funny, i was looking at the site and it was the only thing i liked, then in the store, my sister picked it up and said, this is the only thing i like.  so we both got it)

and also got 3 eggnog votives from illuminations because they're on sale now.  its my fave flavor.

I know there were some great sales, but after my Black Friday shopping disaster (of not getting a thing I wanted) I decided not to venture out.  Everyone has gotten some great stuff so far though!

Well, I wasn't going to go but my sister wanted to go to Old Navy.

From Old Navy:

ongreysweater.jpg

This nice little sweater of acylic and wool for only $6.97!  It will be perfect for spring and cooler summer days since it isn't thick.

Then I went to the Tommy Hilfiger outlet and they were having a really good sale!  There was lots of things I had to pass up, but couldn't pass up two things I really could use:

thpinkstripetee.jpg

Cute pink striped tee for $10.19, whatta deal!  The top mock neck has snap buttons.

thkhakis.jpg

Some basic khaki pants mostly to wear to work for $11.99!

CarrieS... I am loving your boots... mind telling me where you got them and how much?  Are they super comfortable?

I got them from Steve Madden; They're $100. As far as comfort goes, they were in the store, but walking around in them all day will be the true test The heel does rub a teensy bit, but I don't think it's going to be a problem at all. Overall, I love the fit, since with my tiny, narrow feet, it's super hard to find boots that actually fit them...

Is anyone else here from Jersey? I went to GSP which was the biggest mistake. I live ten minutes away but it took me an hour to get there and park. People are crazy!!

...But maybe it was worth it because I got 6 cashmere sweaters for $45 each and some really nice jewelry (which isn't on the website) for $20 a piece from Lord & Taylor!

And at PBKids, I picked up 3 sets of surfing and soccer placemats that were 1.99 for a set of 4.  I also got a chrome phone for my oldest's bedroom.  Metal finish 16.99

I went out for a little while and I didn't think the crowds were bad here.  We didn't go to the mall tho.

I already spent my Anthro GC:

and a basic black fabric headband that isn't on the site.

I shopped for hours with about $400 burning a hole in my pocket and couldn't find anything I wanted except for a $20 white thermal. I'm not letting it get me down and I'm going back out today.
