I just got a new C&C sweater for Chrismas. Unfortunately, my cat's claws are a little sharper than I thought and she walked over me and caused a tiny hole (just from normal walking!!!). The sweater didn't come with extra thread.
I'm scared the hole is going to get bigger. Is this something a tailor would be able to fix easily? Would it require me getting more thread from the manufacturer first? I love my kitty but I'm very sad about the hole in my brand new sweater.
A tailor can probably re-weave it. It depends on where the hole is and the sweater design itself - something with a fancy pattern woven in, for example, will likely be harder to re-weave than a plain sweater. But it's probably salvageable, so don't despair. *s*
